Plans & features¶
Mission Broadcast is a one-time purchase for the whole mission — no subscription, nothing recurring. This page explains what each plan and add-on gives you. For current prices and to choose a plan, head to the
There are two plans, both a single payment:
- Full-Mission — everything you need to run the mission.
- Pro — everything in Full-Mission, plus the premium extras bundled together.
Every plan carries a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Both plans can also be given as a gift — a grandparent or friend buys at missionbroadcast.com/gift with no account, and the family redeems a code. See Gift certificates.
When does my service time start counting?¶
When you activate the site — not when you pay. A new site opens in Setup mode: build the page, add subscribers, and send test letters to yourself, with none of your paid months counting. When your missionary is ready, tap Activate site in the console banner — that's the moment your purchased months start running, and broadcasts open to your real subscriber list.
So the timing of your purchase doesn't matter:
- Buying early (the call came, but the missionary reports in five months) costs you nothing — the clock waits in Setup mode until you activate.
- Buying late (the missionary is already in the field) — just pick the plan length that matches the time they have left. The clock still waits for your activation tap.
Activation is one-way: once your site is live, there's no returning to Setup mode. See Getting started → Going live for the walkthrough.
Full-Mission¶
Everything you need to follow a missionary from the field:
- Your own page at
missionbroadcast.com/m/<your-slug>. - Your own custom domain — you register and own it; we guide the DNS
setup so the public archive lives at
https://<your-domain>. See Custom domain. - Email list & broadcasts — unlimited subscribers, unlimited letters.
- Public letter archive and a mission map.
- Photos and attachments in every letter (standard resolution).
- The whole mission length plus a built-in 2-month wrap-up, so the homecoming letter and final broadcast still land inside your term.
Pro¶
Everything in Full-Mission, plus the premium pieces, bundled:
- Managed custom domain — we register the domain and run the DNS for you; you never touch a registrar or a DNS record.
- Photo Pro — full-resolution photos and more storage, up from the standard caps.
- PDF Letter Book at homecoming — every letter and photo, compiled into a printable keepsake.
We'll ask which web address you'd like
Because Pro includes a managed custom domain, when you choose Pro we'll
ask what web address you'd like — something like
elderpehrsonmission.com. You'll see a couple of examples to spark
ideas, and you can type your own. As you type (or when you select
Check availability), we do a quick look-up and tell you whether that
address looks available or is already taken — and if it's taken,
we'll suggest a few similar names that may be free. It's just a helpful
hint: the check is advisory, so even if the look-up can't be reached, you
can still continue. Not sure yet? Choose "I'll decide later" and
finish — you can tell us the address any time afterward. One thing to
know before you confirm: we register the exact name you enter
automatically the moment you buy, and it's final — so double-check
the spelling, because a different domain later means registering a new one.
Add-ons¶
Prefer Full-Mission but want one of the premium pieces on its own? Each is available à la carte, chosen during checkout:
- Managed custom domain — we register and run your domain instead of you bringing your own.
- Photo Pro — full-resolution photos and more storage, sized to your term.
- PDF Letter Book — the homecoming keepsake on its own.
- Hardcover Letter Book — a printed, bound book (coming soon).
- Archive Extension — keep your archive online past your paid term.
Pro already includes the managed custom domain, Photo Pro, and the PDF Letter Book, so on a Pro plan those show as already included rather than as add-ons.

Running more than one missionary¶
Have more than one missionary on the same account? Each additional missionary gets a discount, applied automatically at checkout — nothing to request. The current rate is on the pricing page.
After the mission ends¶
When your paid term ends you get a a 30-day export window after the paid term ends to download everything — letters, photos, and the final PDF Letter Book. After that, the archive is removed unless you keep it alive.
Archive Keepalive (coming soon) is a small annual renewal that keeps the archive readable at the same web address after the mission. Bringing the domain into your own name lowers the renewal — we'll walk you through the transfer. Until Keepalive ships, export your archive during the window above.
60-day money-back guarantee¶
Every plan is covered. If Mission Broadcast isn't working out within 60 days of your first purchase, email support@missionbroadcast.com and we'll refund what you paid in full — no support-ticket gymnastics. Replying to any billing receipt reaches the same inbox. Refunds typically post back to your card within 5–10 business days.

Managing your plan¶
From the Billing page in your account you can:
- Upgrade Full-Mission → Pro — one checkout; you pay only the difference, and your mission term and dates stay exactly the same.
- Buy an add-on at any time.
